Only a few Corona rules currently apply in North Rhine-Westphalia. In addition to the remaining protective measures in the pandemic, testing and masking are still compulsory in some places. The Corona Protection Ordinance for NRW prescribes exactly where.

When will the Corona rules be tightened again?

On 1 October, the updated Infection Protection Act, which is valid throughout Germany, comes into force. This allows the federal states to tighten the Corona rules again if the situation requires it.
